Rahela Gjeorgievska

Clinical Recruiter

Rahela brings high energy, enthusiasm, and an interest in helping others achieve their goals to her role as a Clinical Recruiter for The Steely Group. A background in social work contributes to her success as a recruiter, and she offers candidates the qualities she values most in any relationship: trust, honesty, good communication, and mutual respect.

Prior to joining The Steely Group, Rahela was a national recruiter for Planet Pharma. Before that, she served as a Guidance Specialist for ComPsych, the world’s largest provider of employee assistance programs. Earlier in her career, Rahela worked as a case manager for a non-profit organization serving adults with mental illness.

Rahela is proud of her Eastern-European heritage – her family moved to Chicago from Stip, Macedonia when Rahela was 3, and she learned to speak English by watching Disney’s Peter Pan. She grew up in McHenry, Illinois, and attended Northern Illinois University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Services.

Outside of work, this savvy vegetarian enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listening to music (especially techno/electronic and hip-hop), going to concerts, hoop dancing (ask her about it!), and taking long bike rides along Chicago’s scenic 606 Trail.
