Vice President, Clinical Staffing
As Vice President of Clinical Staffing, John oversees the direction and strategy of The Steely Group’s Clinical Team. He’s a roll-up-your-sleeves guy who believes in the power of hard work, and is keenly focused on building high-impact relationships with clients and candidates alike. An innate desire to help and make a difference are what fuels his success.
John has been helping pharmaceutical and device companies, biotech firms and CROs build a quality workforce for more than 20 years. Prior to joining The Steely Group, he led the Client Services team at Randstad Pharma, where he was a consistent top producer and 10-time honoree at the President’s Club.
Before that, John served as Director of West Coast Sales at Vedior (acquired by Randstad Holdings in 2007) where he developed and managed client companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500. Earlier in his career, he spearheaded national and global recruitment for Delta Pharma (acquired by Vedior in 2005) which included production, performance management, employee development, coaching and mentoring.
John began his career in staffing at Advanced where he grew the firm’s clinical revenue division by 44% and launched the spin-off company, Advanced Clinical.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Roosevelt University. A self-described adventurer and avid outdoorsman, he enjoys skiing, camping and dirt bike riding. His passions include spending time with family and friends, followed closely by the game of golf.
