I held the door at Starbucks on Hilton Head Island for Ron Howard.
What is your hidden talent?
Making something out of nothing. I have a knack of taking what’s around me and being resourceful with it.
What’s the one thing you love to do at work?
Focus and become so ‘in the zone’ that my day flies by…and much is accomplished

Heather is driven by a passion for continuous growth and thrives by engaging with others. She brings an empathetic nature, customer-focused approach, and six years of recruiting experience to her role at The Steely Group.
This lifelong learner was first drawn to recruiting for the opportunity to impact and influence people’s lives. “Supporting my candidates and helping them achieve their professional goals is important to me,” she says. “It’s very rewarding to know that I’ve contributed to their success.”
Prior to joining The Steely Group, Heather served as Recruiting Director for Interim Physicians, a leading locum tenens staffing firm where she was a consistent top producer. Before entering the recruiting industry, Heather enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing. Her diverse background also includes several executive-level support roles, where she honed her communication and customer service skills.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from CSU Global and is currently working towards her Masters in Crisis Counseling from Liberty University.
Away from the office, this single mother of four and Texas native enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She plays guitar, shares her son’s passion for the performing arts and local theatre, and finds joy in singing, especially any of Julie Andrews’ songs from The Sound of Music. Her preferred method of transportation is her road bike, unless she’s taking a road trip to the beach with her kids and three adopted pups: Kevin, Rory and Murray.
